Agbodrafo, this small fishing village tells not one but many stories
The founding stories of the ancestors and the deities; the stories of the slave trade; the stories of a new generation that is looking for itself through the traces of the past, the obstacles encountered and the possible future. In this video they sing about their dreams of getting a high level education in order to get rich one day and to speak English like the white people. They also say they are strangers in Togo, but that they want to look ahead and do their best. These fishermen from the sea historically come from the Ghana region.
