Amuki IV is part of a series of silent pieces composed for non-conventional instruments, electroacoustics and electronics.

This piece has been structured by a space-time model obtained in Salar de Uyuni.
The sound produced by two colliding stones was recorded from 12 successive points, arranged linearly, approximately 30 meters apart.
The temporal relationships recorded are the result of a complex combination of factors: distance, dryness of the environment, temperature, wind and the total absence of obstacles and reflective surfaces in Salar de Uyuni.
Amuki IV has been composed from a punctual sound, that of the two stones colliding.
