This piece, written and performed by Nganthoibi Ningthoujam, not only inspires to conserve this priceless endowment of nature but was also recorded live in the lush forest of Phayeng Village in Manipur, itself an instance of successful forest conservation which has been led by the village community with constant efforts over the last 50 years.
