Edcarlos Bomfim
Project manager, Cultural producer, Researcher
Administrative assistant in the Department of Culture, Sport and Leisure at Conceição da Feira City Hall in Bahia. He has been a member of the JACA Collective since 2005, working as a trainer and cultural producer at events such as Cajazz and Caravana Cultural. He worked at Núcleo Akofena between 2011 and 2017 as a cultural producer at events such as the HIP HOP School and organizing academic seminars. As a filmmaker, he contributed to the following film clubs: Cine do Povo (Cachoeira 2012-2015), Cine Quilombola (2016), Cine Comunitário (2022-2023). As a popular educator, he worked on the creation and implementation of the Quilombo Educacional da Recuada (2012); Quilombo Kabengele Munanga (2016); Quilombo Educacional Onnim (2017 - 2018) and Quilombo Dona Cadu (2018-2019).
