RK.Bitesh, A begetter of "The Nonverbal Ballad" ꯂꯣꯟ ꯌꯥꯎꯗꯕ ꯁꯩꯔꯦꯡ, a Nonverval Ballader, Experimentalist-Dance Film & The Physical Theatre Practitioner was born in the valley of Manipur surrounded by Nine Hills, and also know as "Kangleipak". There, he delve into the harmonic synchronicity of Art and Nature, and distancing himself from the fundamentalism Art movement. There, he weaved into the web of Syncretic Art Praxis which pushed the boundaries of rigorous way of emanating art.

The Nonverbal Ballad, a Movement's Art which expresses what mere verbal cannot, and also a groundbreaking Art form that speaks directly to the souls by evoking the power of our Kinesics (body-movements) and connecting all beings of this universe through this universal language that transcends words. It's a testament to the human spirit, showcasing the profound impact of Nonverbal Communication on understanding of the world and ourselves.

  • 1st National Mime Festival (2018), Manipur, where he enthralled audiences with "Love Your Nature" directed by Dr. Yumnam Sadananda, under the auspices of Sangeet Natak Akademi.
  • 8th National Mime Festival (2016), Kolkata, organized by Indian Mime Theatre, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Govt of India, and EZCC Kolkata, where he performed "Mirel Masingkha" (The Will of Soul), also directed by Dr. Yumnam Sadananda.
  • 8th Theatre Olympic (2018), Kerala, where he revisited "Love Your Nature"
  • IHDC Season 8 (2019), Goa
  • CMAT Fest (2021), Manipur, where he performed "The Rime of Ancient Mariner" directed by Dr. Yumnam Sadananda.
  • Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Award (2023), Delhi, where he performed "The Departed Dawn" directed by Dr. Victor Thoudam.
  • Emami Experimental Film Fest (2023), Kolkata, where he was the protagonist of the film "Hynagogia" won Best Film Award, directed by Dr. Tushar Nongthombam.
  • India Habitat Centre Theatre Fest (2023), New Delhi, where he performed "The Departed Dawn" once more.
  • Bahuroopi Theatre Fest (2024), Mysuru, where he presented "Aboriginal Cry-Yelhoumi Gi Kholao" directed by Dr. Victor Thoudam.

Bitesh, a seasoned alumnus of the revered Theatre Repertory "KMTR" has been honing their craft in the realm of Mime and Movement since 2014, under the guidance of the illustrious Oja Yumnam Sadananda, Director of Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory. This journey has transcended mere performance, becoming a metaphysical exploration of the human experience. Through the silent language of Mime, he has tapped into the very essence of existence, channeling the universal energies that reside within and beyond.

    In 2022, He embarked on a comprehensive training program under the guidance of the legendary theatre director, Oja Ratan Thiyam, at the esteemed Chorus Repertory Theatre. This immersive journey encompassed rigorous rehearsals, captivating performances, and promotional activities that delved into the very essence of theatre. As he immersed himself in the residential training and apprenticeship at Chorus Repertory, Imphal, he beheld a kaleidoscope of artistic expressions unfold before him.

    Also Continously Since 2023, He has also been an integral performer of the esteemed Physical Theatre Repertory, "Akhoka Theatre" founded by the Artistic Director Victor Thoudam. In here, my artistic soul embarks on a profound journey, where the breath is the catalyst for exploring the vast expanse of the human experience. Through the universal language of nonverbal physical vocabularies, he delve into the conscious and non-conscious, unraveling the intricate tapestry of existence. In this realm, the body becomes a vessel for the soul, expressing the inexpressible.
