We travel to the four corners of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to meet the men and women who work every day to combat climate change and protect the environment. Together, they talk about the importance of waste management and the role of local populations in protecting the environment for a healthier, more sustainable future.
Esther Ndaya lives in the rue Babylone-Kintambo district of Kinshasa. She fights every day to raise awareness and teach by example. Esther inspires us to invent and support new economies and ecologies based on solidarity.
“We raise our voices for governmental and political change that could enable us to live in a healthy environment, and it's also up to each of us, citizens and community members, residents of Kinshasa's neighborhoods, to encourage each other and act responsibly.”
