What does the farm water remind them of in the Oasis? At first their answers are shy and uncomfortable responding , I don’t know.
It is like a river to them. The Draa River route runs through the M’Hamid Oasis and for several decades has not only been seasonally dry but a continual dry stone bed today. The water pumped reminds them of a river and a green Oasis as they grow up in a drying oasis.
