Supriya is a folk culture mediator based out of Rajasthan. She has 5 years of experience in this field in different roles and setups. She comes from a nomadic community and working with the nomadic & performing art communities as a mediator to connect & open new channels of collaboration and connection has been her calling. She has put this to use at her various collaborations with School for Democracy, Khamayati, Jaipur Virasat Foundation, BanglaNatak Dot Com, Kochi Muziris Biennale, Rajasthan Kabir Yatra & Studio Ainak. Supriya is also a mindful listening practitioner which helps her to connect with the artists authentically in a compassionate & emphatic way. Currently she wants to focus on working with the women folk artists as she resonates with the resilience and the power of their voices.
